I think NE is dangerous with Stafford
They still need a lot of upgrades at their skill positions. But he'd be an obvious upgrade over Cam. I don't think they'd be dangerous in terms of coming out of the AFC, but I could see them being a wildcard playoff team.

Yep, the rumors fly around early but when the dust settles we usually come out of free agency with JAGs like Joe Thomas and Cam Flemming.
Darius Thompson and Daryl Worley

Those guys didn't do it for you?

The big names that we usually get are past their primes or have heavy baggage (Greg Hardy).

Every star player that is available every year is linked to the Cowboys. It's like clockwork.
I cannot even remember the last decent player we were linked to that we got. Usually it is someone off the scrapheap or some accomplished clown.

The last time I can recall being stoked was when we signed La'Roi Glover.

I was excited about Terrell Owens but I also knew that it would likely blow up in our face within 2-3 years.
Looking back on it now, I still think it was worth the risk.

I think Jones are the only ones that it does.

You're gonna be stoked when we sign Gerald McCoy.

I did not care for Owens overall, so I wasn't excited.

Really?!?!?

I know he was a jackass who burned bridges but he was still a top 5 WR when he got to Dallas. Plus we were finally turning the corner and on the verge of making the playoffs.

I thought he was a home run free agent signing.

He was talented and all that. The baggage was real though.

We laughed about it at the time but look at all of the heartaches he saved.

Yeah, maybe he was the smarter one after all.

I was more pissed at our shitty defense than I was at T.O.

My take on it was, keep him out of the end zone if you don't want him celebrating.

I wasn't what you would call happy with the signing, but I knew he could help the team so I accepted it rather quickly.
