The Ravens went 14-2 last year and got the 1 seed before Jackson threw up on himself against the Titans in the playoffs, all with Thomas playing just about every game.
The talk of him poisoning the locker room is overblown, particularly if he can be cut at a moment's notice.
Jackson didn’t have the best game, but I wouldn’t call it throwing up on himself.
Two passes early on in that game should have been caught ended up a pop up int and a dropped deep ball. In between Earl Thomas gets a sack to set up third and goal from way back and the WR makes a miracle grab. Throw in a bogus early PF on Jackson for a phantom horse collar tackle. Momentum went the other way fast.
The second half got worse as Ingram’s injury made him a non factor and Jackson had to press harder, but mainly the Ravens subpar pass catchers were exposed in that game with six major drops. At some point someone has to get open and catch.
And each time the Ravens had a turnover, Tennessee turned it into 7. Derrick Henry tortured Baltimore in the second half. You can’t win playoff games by yourself no matter who you are.
Russell Wilson gets to have 4 picks and still go to the Superbowl because his defense saved his ass.
