No and from my point of view I agree with most of what he said. I think the "schelacking" part was just to get attention for what he wants the party to do on the following topics. Which I fully agree with (Not sure how farmers are getting screwed compared to corporations but my dad owns a lot of farmland in Iowa so I'll go with it).
But he is also probably wrong about what will impact the midterms. Reducing spending will never "win an election" unfortunately. Too many people are reliant on the government. Reducing spending is only seen by those people as harmful.
Right, he's not a Democrat but what he's saying there is retarded.
None of those talking points he mentioned would sway most Democrats one iota.
And that's what we're talking about regarding the elections yesterday. Most of the elections were blue no matter who areas. That doesn't change overnight just because Republicans are in charge of the federal government branches and the things he mentioned certainly don't sway Democrat voters.
As an example, I'm in the area so I saw a LOT of Jersey governor ads.
The Democrats literally ran ads that claimed Ciattarelli planned on raising taxes. Which is a dumb accusation considering the source. They also ran ads that he is aligned with Trump. They also ran ads that Sherrill was going to freeze utility prices (a socialist concept that speaks directly to Democrats).
It worked because these are Democrat voters and they're voting blue no matter who.
None of Massie's talking points would make a bit of difference.
(By the way, the Democrats clearly outspent the Republicans in NJ and PA for the judges - I saw a bunch of ads about how great those judges were, and not a single TV ad about why they should be voted out. Ciattarelli also ran a shit campaign, he just had no points, argument or platform at all.)
