It still shocks me to think in what world someone thought lockdowns would be effective at stopping a virus that spreads easily. You can't quarantine an entire population of a country.

That depends on your perspective. Thune has one of the best records supporting 2A and is leaps and bounds a stronger 2A supporter over Cornyn and Scott, who were the other two people competing for that job. I don’t care that he dislikes Trump. Trump is a piece of shit who raised taxes and banned guns, so hopefully Thune will help get more people on board with supporting 2A initiatives and help free some of the 2A hating states.

Just as bad. All gun laws are unconstitutional. Don’t minimize the impact of what precedent could have been set with that. And, Trump also allowed and enabled the ATF to bypass Congress and make its own “laws” and enforce them as it saw fit. SCOTUS had to step in and put a stop to it.

Oh, I do. Trump has never been a 2A advocate. I’ll never blindly trust him, especially after what he did in his first term.

I feel this way, by the way, because we know that the Republicans won’t have control of all three chambers permanently. At some point, the Democrats will, and we also know that if you give those pinkos a molecule of oxygen on any potentially anti-2A issue that the Republicans created, the Democrats will use that opportunity to ram their agendas through with impunity.
