President isn't supposed to do much of anything unilaterally. And yet when a big bill passes congress we all give credit to the President. They do sort of set the agenda. Do you think Obama care was just Obama deciding something and so it was done?

There’s a huge difference between sending money - which was authorized by Congress - and eliminating a federal agency. Also, one idiotic action from one side does not warrant an idiotic action from the other.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I believe that any alphabet soup agency that is not expressly written in the Constitution should be abolished, but the President doesn’t have that authority.

I fully support eliminating it, but it needs to be done in accordance to the Constitution. We can’t have a situation where an imbecile (from any party) has authoritarian control over the country. Ever. And no one should ever support it. That’s literally as Un-American as it gets.
