In a perfect world the president would be as moral as Mother Teresa, but that isn't reality.

And in the end, that doesn't matter much anyway. When you need brain surgery, do you want the less competent surgeon with a heart of gold or the best surgeon in the country who cheats on his wife?

The answer is obvious.

Trump is not the best at anything other than being a lying con artist. He is equally as unfit for the office as Biden.

I don’t even consider the “country was better” nonsense either way. Trump had to deal with COVID, so it is not exactly apples to apples. Biden had no pandemic and the added bonus of people “returning to work” count as gaining numbers in the employment percentages.

Biden was elected right in the middle of Covid. The shutdowns started in March/April of 2020 and he was elected President in November. Had Trump done anything other than angrily defy the pandemic, he likely would’ve been reelected.

His “biggest tax break in the history of our country” pinched me too when it came to deductions for mortgage interest, but it costs me 14k as I too got pushed into a higher tax bracket.

Sadly, it's the truth. His tax plan had two “sweet spots” in it where certain combined household incomes got pushed into higher brackets where everyone else’s was a net zero change outside of capping tax deductions. My accountant and I explored every option available to try and offset it, but we couldn’t because my income was too high and because one of the properties I own is in California.
