They're both piss poor people. That's never been in doubt. But if you can't admit that one had the country in WAY better shape than the other, you are purposely being obtuse.

Trump banned guns by allowing the ATF to make up its own laws, raised my taxes, botched border security, botched a pandemic response, increased the national debt by 35% ($7.5 Trillion), caused inflation through his spending and tariffs, and compromised national security. So, fuck him.

Biden botched the draw down in Afghanistan (by executing the deal that Trump negotiated), further raised taxes, totally ignored border security, further accelerated inflation, allowed the Fed to fuck with interest rates which damn near caused a recession, kept spending, also botched a pandemic response, tried to force taxpayers to foot the bill on student loans, and further empowered the ATF. So, fuck him, too.

I don’t even consider the “country was better” nonsense either way. Trump had to deal with COVID, so it is not exactly apples to apples. Biden had no pandemic and the added bonus of people “returning to work” count as gaining numbers in the employment percentages.

In a perfect world the president would be as moral as Mother Teresa, but that isn't reality.

And in the end, that doesn't matter much anyway. When you need brain surgery, do you want the less competent surgeon with a heart of gold or the best surgeon in the country who cheats on his wife?
