More likely he now hates Burgum.
Burgum is a hard one to like. He does great for a bit, making you think he's a staunch conservative then will go completely off the rails on certain things. For instance, he takes a hard stand on oil and agriculture rights in ND, then will turn around and support outside entities that try to buy things up in the state. Particularly, land grabs on the eastern (more liberal) side of the state. Not sure how he'd do as VP. But as it stands right now, I would prefer somebody else.

Burgum seems like a weird choice anyway. He doesn't affect a swing state, he's not female or hispanic or black.... I don't see the attraction even besides what you said.

Yeah, I'd prefer the Veep come from a purple state that could go either way, because Trump sure as hell ain't winning his own state (NY).

He’s still better than Kamala Harris.

Republicans shouldn't pander. They should pick the best candidate regardless of race, and that ain't Carson. The last time they pandered they got Palin.

Yep. Carson is an awesome human being but he isn't a politician (to his credit).

Hate to say it, but he needs someone who would be just as strong as him on the issues should they knock him off. Someone like JD Vance.

Or maybe he should choose MTG. @booze

Oh that's right. If you have enough common sense that you choose not to stump for a complete moron who has absolutely ruined every single thing he's ever touched, you are not a Republican. :dunce
Sure, dude. This guy is the definition of a simp RINO.
