I wonder if we will ever see shows like that again. Regular TV shows like that just seem to be dead now. Not sure if that's a result of Hollywood or just the change to streaming service. Or maybe I'm just not finding the shows because there are 50 different platforms you have to search to find them.

I think it's a combination of things but I think shows like the Office, Curb and Modern Family kind of soured people on the traditional sitcom. Add in that TV has poured way more money into shows than they used to (Game of Thrones for example) and people expect a lot more.
