I thought for sure he'd be out for the year, especially with their record.

Yeah, based on how it looked I still can't believe there wasn't structural damage. I guess since it wasn't his throwing arm he can probably play. But you'd think the Redskins would want to play it safe with this kid and not risk further injury having him play right away. They aren't playing for anything of value. Basically just competing for a worse draft pick.
