Just saw this on twitter. A lot of my favorite football watching moments are from his broadcasts. RIP to a legend.

I saw a picture of him from a couple years back and he looked absolutely awful. I mean, it’s a terrible thing but he lived a full and long life.

Football was never the same after he left. RIP.

Jesus. RIP.

I was at Madden's HOF induction (I went because of Aikman). Madden's speech was for my money the best ever and still is.

Obviously the best announcer and a great coach as well.

In a lot of ways helped shape what football is today.

RIP.

I'll always remember he used to pronounce Doug Cosbie as "Cause-by" for some reason. That always amused me.
