Just saw on NFLN that the Buccaneers open up the season against the NYJ in New York.

Complete rebuild for the Jets. Ryan's a dead man walking this year. He's a quality defensive coach and will probably get another head gig somewhere, but he lost this job because he stuck by Sanchez foe too long. His staff never got Sanchez to improve and Ryan takes some blame for that. Just a rotten situation. They need to clear house from Ryan down to the water boys.

It wasn't just his blind faith in Marck Sanchez. Ryan also admittedly didn't care enough about the offensive side of the ball. Santonio Holmes is the biggest name they brought in on offense during Ryan's tenure.

Also if look at the Jet drafts since Ryan took over, the bulk of the premium picks were used on defense.
