They were not down starters, they were just inefficient who got efficient playing our shit defense.

Plain and simple, if the highest paid QB and pretty damn highly paid WR cannot beat a secondary down to bare bones, we got some firings that need to happen.

I agree, I felt that way before the season since I knew all it would take was a bit of adversity for the players to start tuning out a coach who will undoubtedly be gone in about 3-4 months.

I just don't think it'll be this week.

If McCarthy can squeeze 11 wins out of this team it'll be an extremely impressive coaching job to me, even though he'll almost certainly be gone afterwards.
