Watched the whole thing. Talked mostly about the secondary... some of that was the questioning (Legion of Boom of course, it's all he's known for) but when asked how he game planned for great QBs like a Brady or Brees, he went right to route combinations and receiver matchups.

I'll try not to say it every day, but I just don't understand why this guy is desirable at all. To me this is actually one of the biggest demerits for McCarthy. Completely uninspired hire.

I think they were basically looking at a known entity instead of putting all their money on bringing someone up from college. Now, I personally think we would have been better off just promoting Edwards, but you know how that goes.
