"For a long time Cowboys were at 32.5M APY then moved up to 33…Lamb and his camp “have been at 34 forever.”
-In the end it came in at 34M APY."

They are such dipshits. :lol
Exactly. In the end they caved to what the player wanted, just like we all knew they would.

Yea they could've given him this deal in like May or June, so what did they get themselves by dicking around?

Increased injury risk for one of your top 3 players?

Hopefully they'll remember this when it comes time for Parsons, and Dak if they truly are trying to extend him, but I'm sure they won't.

Could've been done 6 months ago and at a cheaper price tag.
In light of the info from Slater, I stand corrected.

But what is "forever"?

If they'd have got this done before Justin Jefferson's extension, I think there's a chance they could've got him to sign for $32.5M or $33M. But once Jefferson signed that new deal in June, all bets were off. They missed their window......as usual.

Wiuldnt put it past the Jones’ to invest the $38M signing bonus back then in a short-term CD or something, pocket the gains and then pay the real CeeDee

God damn you're probably not wrong. :lol

So what was the point of not paying this guy? He got exactly what he wanted at the end of it AND missed valuable training and practice time as a bonus for the GM's incompetence.
