I remember that. Texas Stadium fans had a bad rep, Everyone was used to Dallas playing in the playoffs, and the team itself gave off a bored kind of energy. Meanwhile, hungry teams like Washington and San Fran wanted to destroy Dallas— and they basically had wiped their asses with us the previous two games.

No one thought Dallas would win against them deep into the playoffs.

That Rams game was weird AF. Every time Dexter Clinkscale blitzed, he got to Vince Ferragamo. Then we stopped blitzing him. WTF? We moved the ball at will, but White threw two bad redzone picks. I couldn’t believe we lost that game, but it was clear the team felt as if they had already lost. Such a strange time

I of course was devastated. I mean, WTF? Washington obliterated the Rams 51-7 the next week.

The toilets in the stadium froze. Perfect capper to an awful day.

Eric Allen, Sterling Sharpe and Jared Allen getting in over Woodson is laughable.

Eric Allen is the definition of "hall of very good" while Sharpe had like a 6-year career, even if he was awesome over that time. Jared Allen at least deserves to be in but there's no reason he should be getting in 10+ years ahead of Woodson.

The fact that…that…is their class is just disgusting.

The whole system needs to be revamped.

Sharpe is a Seniors Committee induction and separate from the Modern Finalists. So, Sharpe didn’t get in over Woodson.

He will have to outlive some of these dumb ass writers and hope someone in the future has respect for what he accomplished.

There ain’t no goddamn way Lynch was better than him.
The Modern voting panel passed on Bob Hayes, Drew Pearson, Rayfield Wright, Cliff Harris until Seniors Committee. Woodson only has two years left until he’s bumped to Seniors.

Kuechly should've been in over all of these jokers but I guess they didn't want to make him a first ballot guy.
Next year is gonna be even tougher for Woodson with first time eligible Drew Brees, Larry Fitzgerald, Jason Witten and Frank Gore added to the mix

Brees and Fitz are a lock, even as first ballot

How the frick did Sterling Sharpe get in?

Darren Woodson aside, Sterling is simply NOT a HOFer. Period. He's like 100th in receiving.

Complete joke.

Eric Allen doesn't deserve it either, but at least judging corners is a bit nebulous.

But Sharpe played a stat driven position and he doesn't remotely have the stats.

Fucking absurd.

One of the most egregious enshrinements ever.
