In case you weren't hating Jerry enough...

He seriously is like an 80s TV villain.

TV Guide listing: 8:00 The A-Team -- Team tangles with small-town bootlegger terrorizing rural southern county.

But Harper got the last laugh with a 30 yard Hail Mary type TD that ended up being the difference in the game.

That one play prevented Washington from going a perfect 19-0 that year, as they pulled their starters and barely lost the last reg season game. Had they been undefeated, you can bet they would have played to win. Instead they finished with just two losses

#4207 above... Love the way Pat says "Touchdown!" with surprise and almost happiness.

Yeah, too bad it tarnished the season in a way, with Aikman's knee getting wrecked towards the end. Even though we went 5-0 under Beuerlein including a playoff game, I always wonder if Troy might have had a better game in Detroit?

As a consolation I got lunch at the most expensive restaurant in the area on an office wager, also thanks to all those 4th down gambles in that game

Wow, good stuff. I didn't remember any of that about playing a playoff game on a Monday afternoon (!) or terrible weather making them practice in Houston.

They're right though about fans being spoiled by success. Not that surprising when the team wins a much as they did back then.
