I like that they kept Wheat, I think he has upside to be a Dorance Armstrong type. I know one thing, this is a massive DL group both on the interior and on the edge with Golston, Kneeland and Wheat, so I expect our run defense to be much improved.
It all starts there. We’ve taken shortcuts up front for too many years. Oh, and Micah at DE… I fing hate it. The Packers just took him out of the game.

They and the Bills just ran it straight up our asses. Micah’s 11-14 sacks a year aren’t worth that.

Eh. Wood seemed alright but so be it. Not particularly impactful in the end.

I do like the new PS rules. It's almost like expanding the roster without actually expanding the roster.

I agree, the whole point of roster sizes is to prevent teams from hoarding talent. The easy solution is basically to have players basically be part of the roster but not protected from other teams picking them up.

It's kind of nice that practice squad spots can be used on guys like Lawson and Cook to get them up to speed and in game shape without having to sign them to the active roster and cut someone that you may need in the immediate future. And you can basically promote these guys at any time as needed.
