A talent like his is best used sparingly, or else you damage his effectiveness overall. Blasting up the middle vs DT’s like Williams— not good.

Like Deuce, Pollard needs a little misdirection (or power blocking from a FB or H-back) to assist him. You run Deuce straight up the gut, you’re going to get him broken too. Their game is speed and elusiveness.

Dowdle and Jones… need to see more here (and in Jones’ case, anything at all) because these are our power options.

Wonder what the Jets want in a trade for Breece Hall? :)
They cut jones

Just heard on the radio that they expect Dallas fans to take over State Farm Stadium in Arizona this weekend. Cardinals fans are selling their tickets to Cowboys fans for even less than face value, as they expect to be completely run off the field, and don't want to sit thru the embarrassment. :lol I can't remember the dude's name on NFLRadio, but he said this might be the biggest flip of a stadium ever by opposing fans, and he wouldn't be surprised to see 80/20 Cowboys fans or more.

Yea even under normal circumstances it'd probably be close to 50/50, with the Cardinals being arguably the worst team in the league and us being arguably the best...well, yea.

Back when they were in the NFC East it used to be pretty bad as well. It always felt like we had an extra home game when we played that road game in Arizona.

Yeah, I remember that. But 80/20 in an opposing stadium seems like an awful lot. I could maybe see 60/40, which would still be a shitload of Cowboys fans in their stadium.

But if you were a Cards fan, wouldn't the Dallas game be one of the few games you wanted to see? I guess $ talks louder.

I think with the coaching staff we have, and the leaders we have on the field, there is little chance of this happening. There is something different about them. I don't think we'll be losing focus as easily as we did in the past.
Yup.

This is about as comfortable as I've felt in recent memory with our guys NOT having a letdown.

This team just has a real good feel to it right now.

Yeah, it's not as lopsided as it used to be in regards to fan presence.

After the Cardinals turned into a more competitive team in the 2000s, more fans started showing up and it stopped being an extra home game for us like it used to be.

Still, there will always be a heavy Cowboys presence at those games so even if it is 60/40 like you said, I'll take that every day of the week.

I think it is pretty obvious he has lost at least half a step.
I'm not sure where you guys are seeing this.

He looks just as fast as he did last year and the longest runs in each game belong to him.

I just don't think we've created a ton of running room in either game. But when the space has been there, he's looked perfectly fine to me.

I haven't seen a breakdown on which direction the run plays have been called, but I assume once Tyler Smith is back in the lineup we should see them run a little more often to the left.
