I agree on the design, but they are boots and not shoes.

Look at the heel, and there are tons of boots that square off like that. Hell, I have work boots that are shaped like that.

I used to sell shoes when I was in college. I gotta tell ya, there are some stories there.

But that was a long time ago and I am not going to pretend to be an expert at current footwear styles.

All I can say is that the pattern on those "boots" sucks and in general footwear has gotten more and more stupid over the years. And I cannot believe how much people invest in them as accessories. And not just people with the means.

I have owned some squared off toed Cowboy boots but they weren’t that flat.
