Any details released about Larry Allen’s cause of death?

Looking more and more like Dallas needs to finish 11-5-1 and hope there are not three wildcard teams with 12 or more wins (this means there are also at least two division winners with 12 wins). And we need GB to be on of those division winners.

That has never happened since the 7-game playoff format started in 2020.

But things are closing in on it this year. An unfortunate fact is If GB falls to Chicago and Denver but wins the remaining games to also finish 11-5-1, they beat us on conference tiebreaker, so we need them to either win their division or collapse.

An 11-5-1 record wins us the Eastern division with two more Philly losses— gotta keep an eye on that.

But most importantly we need to win out and finish 11-5-1 in the first place, starting with Detroit.

I just don’t think 10-6-1 will get us there.

Making the playoffs or not this year isn't a huge issue to me, especially if they finish with 10 wins.

The most important thing is that the defense continues to look halfway competent so that it can carry over into next year and potentially be a better than average unit with a few additions.

If they can happen we'll be a SB contender with our offense.

Yeah, if we knew in advance we weren't going to make it, I'd almost rather not finish so hot -- not a total collapse or anything -- so we can get a better draft position, maybe evaluate more younger players, and not lose Adams to some poaching team like AZ. I'm still a little concerned about that.

Of course there's no way to know that, so hopefully we win out. But if we don't, I guess I'm saying maybe it's better to know that sooner rather than later, even though later makes for a few more weeks of fun.

Even if we are eliminated, I’d prefer to keep winning over losing for draft position. Losing breeds losing. Gets into your psyche. I’d rather build confidence and cohesion. Learn how to win.
Just win right now. Detroit is what you can control. Go out and win that game. That's all you can do and let the chips fall where they may.
