There is absolutely ZERO chance of any team turning that trade down. Regardless of what their cap situation was. Parsons AND a first rounder? GTFO. They would have accepted that before Jerry finished speaking.

At most Jerry called the Jets and they said they won't trade Williams, Jerry said "Not even for Parsons and a first?" and the Jets said, we aren't trading Williams for anything.

There is no way we made a serious offer of Parsons and a first. But telling that story makes trading only a first and second for Williams sound awesome.

The rumor was that we had wanted Quinnen and a 1 for Parsons, so I could easily see Jerry mixing that up after having a few.

I'm not going to lie, I liked him. Obviously there is some reason he has bounced around the league and went as late in the draft as he did. But he was a very productive college player. He is well built and he is fast. Who knows, Malik Davis is somehow looking decent. Rico Dowdle has made a career. I guess you just never know with RBs but I have no problem bringing this kid onto the practice squad. I just wish one of our two draft picks at RB was getting a chance. But right now it doesn't look like we need to. Just hope they are ready if someone gets hurt.

This is very encouraging if true. This guy says only one of these things has to happen for us to make the playoffs.

Granted we have to go 4-1 or 5-0, but we basically already knew that. But if we do, there are many paths in and a few of these teams play each other.
