He's better than what they had last year but I'd much rather the Skins trade for Tunsil, who might be in decline, than Hendrickson who was 2nd in DPoY voting last year.

I assume they won't be able to make any other trades requiring heavy picks after this one.

Imagine allegedly winning a super bowl and still aggressively tweaking your roster.

As opposed to losing in the first or second round of the playoffs and "liking our guys".
Green's career so far...

As a rookie, Green achieved a PFF grade of 37.7, which positioned him at the 77th spot out of 77 graded guards. His performance included allowing 47 quarterback pressures, including four sacks and 12 quarterback hits. Furthermore, he committed 12 penalties, tying for the second-highest count in the league.[25]

On August 29, 2023, Green was placed on injured reserve after suffering a shoulder injury in the final preseason game.[26][27] He was activated on December 20.

This is aggressively tweaking your roster? You guys need to relax. Take a deep breath. Not everything everyone else does is some awesome move while everything we do is complete shit.

I liked him in the draft but he has been a bust since. The only thing I will say is the Eagles have a way of coaching up Olineman and spinning shit into gold. So I wouldn't be shocked if he somehow became a good player.

They're hoping to rehab Green like they did with Becton but at the moment he's no better than schlubo Rob Jones that we just signed yesterday.

The Eagles also lost probably their two best DL after Carter yesterday, so I wouldn't say they've upgraded the roster by any means.

Well, sure. He has the pedigree. But has shown less than shit for it. Yet it's still being looked at like a good move? When we take a flyer on a past high draft pick it's automatically looked at as some shit, desperation move? The constant doom and gloom is tiresome.

Yeah this is more similar to the draft bust for draft bust trades we see in Dallas all the time.

Yeah, not sure I'd want a single player off that Houston OL.

It's not about the move itself, it's that they've been active early so far with several moves.

Contrast that with last year where we did almost nothing after losing in embarrassing fashion in the playoffs.

We needed a roster shake up last year and instead did very little.

Not every move is going to work but it would be nice to root for a team that took improving the roster like their jobs depend on it.
