Exactly. Lane's track record shows that he's a nomad. No one should've been caught off guard by the decision.Its because of his past. It just adds on but if you look at his resume he generally doesn't stay long anywhere. They should have been expecting this and actually stayed longer than the usual 3 years or less at Ole Miss.
The real problem, as others have pointed out, is the NCAA's calendar. That thing needs to be fixed ASAP.
Players and coaches shouldn't be allowed to move on to new schools until after the season.
