It would be like pissing into a raging dumpster fire thinking you can put it out.If they give up resources to try to make something out of this shit roster I'm going to be pissed.

Shit I hope they both put an ass whipping on these fucktards. Better yet, I only want to watch on the hope they show that shriveled up wrinkled ass loser Jones every 5 minutes especially when Daniel’s goes off for 5 TDs on us. Glorious. While it would suck to lose to Eagles and Redskins, I wouldn't have a problem with it.
To me this season comes down to 3 big things:Outside of effort, because we can always look at that, it is hard to judge the performance of any of our defensive players since they are playing on a defense built to play with a lead and are also playing short handed.
These guys might be out of position and lose discipline because they feel like they have to do too much. For example, sometimes I want to wring Donovan Wilson’s neck, and other times I totally get why he didn’t make the play he should have.
The offense that should be building the lead is a mess, clearly a rebuilding year for the OL with the left half and center young as shit and the right side aging and under-performing their contracts.
RB is a total laugher, and injuries and a lack of planning have left us with only one proven WR. Ferguson is strong, and if it wasn’t for Dak’s jitters and the predictable nature of our attack, I think he’d be turning in more of a breakout performance.
Dak needs a strong running attack to be comfortable, that’s the number one factor to his uneven year. Every QB needs this, so we can’t really unleash our frustrations on Dak, either.
This shit show of a year lands squarely at Jerry’s feet, and he flat refuses to take the blame
I'd be fine with making a splash trade for a long-term piece like Jeffrey Simmons which is a long-term move and not just based on improving right now.It would be like pissing into a raging dumpster fire thinking you can put it out.
Jerry is still too optimistic for the season so this is going to be a scary couple of days for me.I'd be fine with making a splash trade for a long-term piece like Jeffrey Simmons which is a long-term move and not just based on improving right now.
It'll never happen, but I'd be fine with something like that.
Giving up anything for a 2024 rental would be insane.
I’m speculating that Jones’ don’t want to make any moves either because, aside from Dak and Lamb, they want the 2025 coaching staff to have a clean slate to rebuild the personnel in their style. Zimmer’s a one season rental and we could very well be 3-4 next year.To me this season comes down to 3 big things:
1. We literally have the worst RB group in the league, and as such the worst rushing attack in the league
2. At any given time we've been down 3-4 starters on an already so-so defense, including basically our entire edge depth chart and a good chunk of our CB group. Injuries happen to most teams but they're most destructive when they come in waves at a specific position where you end up playing a bunch of guys who are PS-caliber, which is what has happened at DE for weeks, and CB to a lesser extent
3. Jerry bringing back a lame duck HC off the back of one of the most disappointing playoff performances in team history
There are obviously other issues but you don't go from three 12-win seasons to this without something pretty dramatic, and I think it comes down to those three above. Of course most of it is self-inflicted like you said.
I definitely think that's a big part of what they did this offseason. They're usually shitty in FA but this year was just next level stuff.I’m speculating that Jones’ don’t want to make any moves either because, aside from Dak and Lamb, they want the 2025 coaching staff to have a clean slate to rebuild the personnel in their style. Zimmer’s a one season rental and we could very well be 3-4 next year.
It further makes Jones’ gunshy to pull off any trade deadline transactions this season since it would potentially take away pie/scheme flexibility for the next staff.
Handcuffed
I'll give you a few guesses who won't be getting reached by the center.

I wish he wouldHas Mel passionately called for his son's return yet?
GIVE ME BACK MY SON
The play call was even worse, I didn't mind the fake punt in theory but throwing a jump ball to Goodwin?I don't mind the call. We were pretty desperate at that point.
The execution was dog shit though.
Yeah, it was a bad look for a guy that has, well…ONE FUCKIN’ JOB.The worst was, did Goodwin even know they were throwing to him?
It looked like our 10 year ultimate irreplaceable special teams ace missed the call.
