This is why I think at certain points in a game, ALL penalties should be reviewable or at least be made correctable by a booth that keeps an eye on these things from afar.

That is a totally unacceptable mistake for the refs to make at that point in the game.

WTF is that guy looking at?

What makes it worse is that the Rams defender immediately puts his hands on his helmet because he knows he just committed a big penalty and is expecting to get flagged for it.

NFL officiating is a complete joke.

If he wore a Guardian Cap we wouldn't be discussing this. They are bigger and no way would the ref miss that.
