Nothing about Vrabel excites me.
Nothing? Not even having a tough team? Which I think Vrabel would insist on, or he wouldn't take the job.

Even if we didn't win big, I'd at least like to see a tougher team. So tired of seeing every other team I see on Sundays play more physical than we do.

Outside of 2 seasons he was pretty mediocre his other 4 in Tennessee. 2 out of 6 isn't a great track record. After that 12 win season they cratered.

I don't think toughness alone translates to wins.

I'm not excited about Vrabel either, but to be fair, he never had much of a QB the entire time he was in Tennessee.

Exactly. I think he did very well with Ryan Tannehill.

That's the best defense of Vrabel.

Here, although Dak is definitely an upgrade, we don't have much by way of offensive weapons and I don't know that he'd insist on getting any. Particularly in the draft where I assume he'd want to focus on rebuilding the defense.

I don’t like Vrabel because he went to Ohio State. Fuck that shit hole.

He doesn't excite me per se but I'd take him over just about anybody else except Belichick and I guess Ben Johnson, although I think he's a bit overrated due to the talent they have on the OL and at RB.

I'm wary of Johnson also but I'd prefer him over Vrabel.

So what are we looking at here in terms of a ranking?

1. Belichick
2. Johnson
3. Vrabel
4. Slowik

Maybe someone like Aaron Glenn as a wild card?

I can't really think of anybody else that should be in the running.

It just doesn’t matter unless the toxic fucking cunt family that owns the team decides to fade into the background, shut their cunt fucking mouths, sign checks like a good owner, and leave the football to those who know how the fuck it’s played.

I'd have to think about who would be on my list but I don't think I would have Vrabel as high as 3rd.

I don't like Aaron Glenn at all. I don't think his coaching is particularly great and his guys just hold on every play. Sorry in Dallas that strategy would not work at all. They would just throw a flag on every play.

Either way I want someone to bring toughness to the team. We haven't been tough in so long.
I'm skeptical that any coach, even Belichick, can make this group tough. I think the lack of toughness is directly related to the way Jerry runs the organization. Don't like something, run to Jerry, although maybe it worked for a while with Parcells.

And the QB is mentally fragile. Until he stops looking like a deer in the headlights in every big moment, I don't think the offense will change. And our best player on defense chirps at every online comment and seems to be more interested in his weekly podcast.

I think we've had a lot of players come in who we thought might change that, but none of them have ever succeeded.

I said it all last offseason. The best way to help Dak is to have a real run game. And yet we went the opposite direction and went with fucking Zeke. You need to lighten the pressure on Dak so that it's not all on his shoulders. The cheapest and easiest way to do that is the run game. But wtf do I know.

And Parsons just needs the right role model. I think he is very pliable and has gone off the rails but can be brought back in with the right coach.
