Due to a random set of circumstances I was at the Senior Bowl in 2018 and talked to him for a few minutes, naturally the main thing on my mind was the Watt/Taco decision the year before based on how I viewed Watt in a somewhat different way than most.
No fucking way that is real.

But Joe Fuckin’ Fan does.
I mean we need a WR but we need a DE/DT/RB way more. A 1 to 2 year rental at WR would make zero sense. This defense isn't winning a Superbowl. And you could dramatically improve RB at a far lower cost if that's what you want to do.
Yeah, no way we even asked about that.
And his cap hit is like 35 mil next year. That's never happening here.
There have been a number of rumors about us wanting to upgrade at WR, so I have no doubt that we're theoretically interested, but it'll never happen because of money and the pick it'd take to get him.
I seriously doubt we called the Raiders, but the Raiders may have called us. Why wouldn't they see if they can pull Jerry's pants down?
That's just weird but I think this could ultimately be better for the offense. I think getting Tolbert and Brooks more involved is a good thing for the offense. Cooks has not looked particularly good in his role. Maybe the role is wrong, maybe the skills have declined, but whatever the reason it may be good to take a look at the younger guys. This season is a wash to me anyway.
