Maybe the next Taysom Hill? If he is used right it might work. I mean, we need RBs.
His running was very impressive. Not just the TD run but he made some dudes miss on other runs too. He is actually a better runner than. I even realized. His accuracy is so hit or miss though. And the decision making is not there at all yet.

It could work if they use him right. At least get fucking something out of that 4th.

Without actually analyzing anything indepth I noticed that they were all throws to his right.
What I thought maybe he was going for is that he just didn't see the defender. It's not like they were simply off-target throws, it's that he literally didn't see the guy in the white shirt who was in the way. Which of course is death for a quarterback.

There was one that looked pretty off target. A couple that he didn't look like he saw the defender, one that looked like he was late on his throw (and probably telegraphed it), and out of all of them I think only one where he was really under any sort of duress which may be the most damning thing of all because it looked like he had time for the most part.

Not to zapruder this but...

The 1st one was a roll out and he threw behind the receiver, which gave the defender an opportunity to dive and grab it. Errant throw.

I really really didn't like the second one because he had happy feet. He bailed on the pocket despite there being zero pressure. Presumably didn't see the defender.

The third one I'm guessing either he didn't see or anticipate the defender, or thought he could zip it past him.

Number 4 he was pressured and threw it up for grabs in a 50/50. Not a smart throw but in his defense you can't take a sack there with about 2 minutes left down 7.

The 5th was the most off target. This was wildly inaccurate and if he hits the receiver it's a TD and they are attempting the tie. Receiver was pretty wide open.

Not sure if anybody mentioned this during the game but the fact that Beebe didn't play at all while Hoffman played nearly a half makes it pretty obvious that he's the starter, no?

I look forward to the creative ways our dumbass FO figures out a way to not make a NFCC over the next 8+ years with another generationally dominant OL.

No doubt about it.

And if anyone can identify talent that translates into success in the NFL, it’s this guy and his progeny.

They’re playin’ 4D chess

Just look at these mugs! Veritable gawds

We're one of the best drafting teams in the league since 2014 (when they supposedly rehauled their approach to the draft after the 2013 trade down situation). It's the only explanation for how we've had one of the best regular season records in the league over the past decade when Stephen and Jerry do literally nothing in FA half the time.

Stephen is a real piece of shit and I truly don't think he cares whether we win another Super Bowl or not, but he deserves credit for emphasizing the importance of the draft, even if it's for selfish/financial reasons.

When you squander talent for meager compensation or give up premium picks for bad players I’d say that affects the overall grade.
