That dice roll cost us a back in this past draft, from the looks of things, a decent one or two.

Maybe but their own idiocy cost them that really, they had plenty of opportunities to take a RB and decided to pass multiple times.

I kind of wonder if the analytics team has convinced them that any old spare RB will do. (Which I don't agree with BTW.)

How do you know we would have taken a back there? We might have just got us another Nashon Wright.

I lean in the direction of RB isn't that important but that's not even close to what Dallas is doing. I'd pepper RB on almost a yearly basis with those third/fourth round RBs with fresh legs. Sure I wouldn't sign one to a big contract and I wouldn't use a high first round pick on one. But you can't totally ignore it and have the worst RB room in the NFL. Which may be legitimately true.

And it is not like we did not put in the work with visits and what not with them. I believe they wanted one, but gosh darn that luck.
