I could easily see Verse dropping further than expected due to his measurements (6037, 254, 33.5 inch arms). The height is fine but for a DE whose game is predicated on power 254 and sub-34 arms isn't ideal.

I'd still snap him up at 24 without thinking though.

I also think Chop Robinson measuring in with 32.5 inch arms drops him to the late 1st/early 2nd.
Dallas Turner checked the length box.

I'd love to draft Chop. Then Dallas fans could do an Indian Chop that people would hate.

Measurements like that are more indicative of a 3-4 OLB/DE rather than a 4-3 DE.

I don't know, 260 is roughly the benchmark for a 4-3 DE, that's what I think Lawrence was about when he came out. Of course you have jumbo DE's out there who just eat up space and then the freaks like Garrett who are 270 but have the athleticism of someone 20-30 lbs. smaller, but I think 254 is generally ok for a 3-down guy.

I'm just saying it's not picture-perfect ideal, which could drop him from 10-15ish to 20-25, in which case I'd pounce.

Yep, 255-260 is a pretty standard weight for an NFL DE. Sure 30 years ago things were a little different and the expectation was more 270-280.

Fiske is going to end up in at least the early 2nd if he keeps this up.

The DTs are testing well. It looks like Murphy will definitely be out of reach in the first. I don’t think we will double dip at the position, but it bears watching what we do. We may end up not getting a solution.

I thought he was more of a 3rd but after putting up a 4.78 following that Senior Bowl performance I'm not even sure he'll be there for us in the 2nd now.

Verse tested well also, no-brainer if he somehow falls to 24. Chop did well enough but it's not that impressive relative to all the "blowing up the Combine talk" and especially when you consider his average size/length.

I see a lot of white knights in the media for Robinson. But there are a lot of teams that will be turned off by his measurements.

Yeah, he looked really good at the Senior Bowl. He isn't massive but I think he plays bigger than the 292 pounds or whatever he is listed at. I agree though, I was a fan in the third. But that's looking less likely and I'm not really a fan in the first round.
