It's crazy that other than the service academies, Clemson is the only FBS school not to bring in at least one player from the transfer portal.

It doesn’t make any sense to me, either, but some coaches are old school purists who refuse to adapt to what the sport has become. And given the way that the transfer portal and NIL work, there’s no way that he’ll stay competitive without using it. Hell, college teams are starting hire GMs to help structure and run the programs to make best use of the transfer portal.

This looks deeper than just the QB. They were fucking boat raced on defense by BC. That should never happen to a program like Florida State. They gave up almost 270 yards on the ground.

They lost a lot of talent to the NFL but you just assume a school like FSU has plenty more in the pipeline. But FSU isn't like Alabama or Georgia or Ohio State.

I just noticed this a few weeks ago when I saw a story about USC trying to hire away Alabama's GM.

It already kind of is. You need a LT, just buy one from another team. You want a stud recruit, get him the money. That combined with the transfer portal rules makes it so everyone is basically on a one year deal.

Getting Isiah Bond in the transfer portal was huge for my Longhorns.

He's going to be a problem for defenses all year long.

I think Gunnar Helm has a chance to be a good TE in the NFL.

We got Amari Black in the transfer portal as well but I always felt like Helm had potential and so far early into this season, he's showing it.

Great offensive line.

This is about as talented as I've seen a Texas team since the 2000s Mack Brown days.

This might be the best collection of skilled players that they've had in over 15 years but they're also very good in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

I don't know if they're going to be able to make it deep into the playoffs, but I do know that it's going to be very tough to beat them and keep them from doing so.
