So people are saying Tolbert appears to have figured some things out. Cautious optimism is warranted.

If my theory is correct that Tolbert's problem was lack of physicality, then looking good in OTAs won't even matter.

Let's see if he actually makes catches in traffic, runs hard with the ball, and blocks someone when the pads go on.

I mean I agree. But I think they are hoping for a guy with a bigger leg than Gould but would turn to a guy like that if no better options appear.

Personally I think the love of making 55-60 yard kicks is silly. Those are so rare and in most instances from that distance I'd rather go for it. Those kicks are only useful at the end of the half or game.
Agreed.

It's far more important to me that you have a guy you can count on to consistently make the 45 yarders and under.
