An Ole Miss signee showed up in a Lamborghini? I didn't expect that at a lesser program.

California has not been very good for him.
They gave him a full head of hair when he moved out there. He had a pretty massive bald spot and receding hairline when he left OU.

3 weeks after he made the jump to USC ~POOF~ full head of dark hair.

Ridiculous that an unknown and unproven JUCO guy is being handed this kind of money.

I can see what happened in the NFL with rookie contracts eventually happening in CFB with NIL.

Most of these 4 & 5 star recruits turn out to be busts becuase it's largely a crapshoot just like the NFL draft. NFL teams eventually wised up and realized they were throwing away a lot of money by making unproven draftees the highest paid players at their position before they even took a single practice rep.

I think the same will eventually happen with NIL. These boosters or whatever they're called, will eventually get tired of getting burned by college players who don't live up to the hype and we'll see the bigger dollars be reserved for players who have actually proven themselves.

NCAA is powerless there and they and colleges are afraid to make a court case out of it.

The quickest way to fix is to pay the players. Really. Like the rest of the world for talent. Then they’re under contract for x y or z years. If you want out . . find a school and they can buy out the contract. Just like the coaches. Any other college kid, even on scholarship, can just up and leave and take their future alumni donation smarts somewhere else. All the money being paid by collectives just another sign of how much bucks are associated with the sport yet none of it went to the product .. at least not above board. Now, it’s above board.

I could have used some Lamar Thomas play-by-play during that brawl.

Michigan has reportedly offered Harbaugh a 10-year $125M extension, with a caveat that he won’t leave for the NFL for at least one season.

Well, they got to play against a freshman qb making his first start. Clearly, BV told him to play lose and not worry about mistakes. I think he's going to be a good qb. He has a super quick release.

He's gonna be a stud. What lost them the game was Farooq turning it over twice, once deep in their territory and once for the long pick six.

I’m still in awe of how bad the Cotton Bowl was last night. Holy shit, what a horrible game.

It's perfect timing, really. Day's players give up on him and bail into the transfer portal, they don't bother showing up last night in the Cotton Bowl and just go through the motions in a humiliating loss, and then get exposed for cheating after orchestrating the entire witch hunt against Michigan this season. Talk about a total indictment on Ryan Day and his illustrious incompetence. Fuck him, and Fuck Ohio.

I hope they throw the book at Ohio State.
They’re fucking hypocrites. They used Day’s brother’s PI firm to illegally obtain the evidence to prove what Connor Stallions did, leaked it to the NCAA, screamed bloody murder about it, while already colluding with Purdue and Rutgers for their film on Michigan, and then stole another company’s film to get an edge against other teams.
