The pants were very blue in 1974-5, 78-80. Combined with the royal blue jerseys, it was just too much. Yeah, we beat the Rams 28-0, but I associate them with losing. So did Tex, which is why he changed them.
This was also my only positive memory!

Fucking first Superbowl loss was with those jerseys, even though the pants were less blue and more gray.

Losing to the fucking Giants in 1980 was the goddamned last straw.

We switched to the darker blues and gray pants and broke that goddamned curse.

Not really. I don't think we've won a playoff game in those post-1980 dark jerseys.
Plus that shit doesn't exist.

You know why we've won more in whites?

BECAUSE WE WEAR THEM OF A RATIO OF 8 TO 2 TO THE BLUES.

The blue uniform always has been and always will be the best uniform in football.

We should wear it more.

well sure, we only wear them on the road and it's harder to win on the road - period.

We should wear it more.

You know what?

I've watched the Cowboys lose 8 fucking playoff games since the turn of the century.

You know what color jersey they had on for 7 of them?

The whites.

You superstitious nerds need to let that go.

Give me more blue!
