Guess we need to focus on DBs now.
God I hope not. Find a way to use one of the other corners you drafted last year if you must. But I can't stomach a top pick on a corner in this draft with needs at Oline, WR and Dline. We didn't even use Bossman last year anyway.

6'8" 384 lbs....
If he flops at OT, move him to NT
That's a massive mountain of humanity

Those are two completely different skill sets.

Can't think of too many 6-8 nosetackles.

He intrigues me because even among football players he makes the other guys look tiny. He is legit a mountain for a rusher to try to get around. He needs work for sure but I am intrigued. The problem is I don't know that we cam afford to use that high of a pick on a developmental RT.

True, but stopping this guy would have to be a feat
He would have to completely retaught his play. Explosive forward versus side to side are two completely different things to be able to do. OL go side to side and brace for contact (much more muscle needed), and NTs have to have more explosion. A lot of big boys can't do the explosion things, and that's why they are OL.

I noticed that Jerry's talk of trading up has been interpreted as moving up in the first.

But that wasn't really what he said at all. Mention the first three rounds and moving up. He then mentioned moving up for a Frerick type at 29. Which was obviously a trade down. So I almost feel like Jerry is really hinting at moving up in the second round to get 2 guys with that late first early second area. Wouldn't be surprised if he is thinking one of these top two guards and a top WR.

Anyway, just seeing a video of his actual comment I think people are reading it incorrectly if you take it for truth.
