Zach's brother, right?Texans appear to be releasing C Nick Martin.
Eh, it cleared 6.25 mil in cap space. So he wasn't that cheap. It was a 3 years 33 mil contract so really not cheap at all.Zach's brother, right?
Seems like he was cheap, so he must really suck.
It’s weird. He’s played well enough from what I saw. Decent, but not spectacular, but good enough to keep a job.Zach's brother, right?

Yeah not sure of the teams cap situation but they are clearly trying to clear space.
Arent you required to spend a certain amount? Looks like there are going to be quite a few new Jaguars.
Facts.I'll just say it, Disney is way too big.
A certain amount can roll over. I'm not sure what that amount is, but the Jags can roll some of that into the next year if they want to.Arent you required to spend a certain amount? Looks like there are going to be quite a few new Jaguars.

I knew there was some that rolls over. Just wasn't sure how much.Starting with that season, each team is required to spend a minimum of 88.8% of the cap in cash on player compensation, and 90% in future years. However, the floor is based on total cash spent over each of two four-year periods, the first running from 2013–2016 and the second from 2017–2020.
This is what I was remembering but not sure it still applies.
Those may be two different numbers as well.I knew there was some that rolls over. Just wasn't sure how much.
I'd bet they can fudge those numbers with creative accounting as wellThose may be two different numbers as well.
