I mean Surtain would have been an excellent pick too. I have no doubt he would have been a massive upgrade to Brown. But we didn't have 2 picks at the top of the draft and we easily took the best guy available. And we got the better player. Unfortunately you can't just get both guys.

His name was thrown around by some fans and members of the local media as a target for the Oklahoma job. But that Notre Dame just might be more enticing to him.

The Irish are definitely more of a national brand but Oklahoma has the "advantage" of having lower academic standards. If you can ball, they'll find a way to get your dumb ass accepted to the university. :lol

The contract Ruhle signed with the Panthers is a bear though.
