Seen a couple reports that he doesn't interview well

Supposedly he does not interview well. But some are also dropping the race thing in there.

All this stuff sounds good but he lacks tactical skills, IMO. That's why I believe he's going to need a couple of strong coordinators under him.

I have no doubt Campbell himself feels this way, but it's hard to get everyone to buy into that. The bluster only really works when you hold guys accountable.

I'm going to try not to shit on this because I shat on the Pederson hire and they got a championship out of it so you never know.

But..............not sure I'm seeing the wisdom here even though I understand why they want this guy - proximity to Reid and Reich.

That is what was rumored, but they haven't settled on anyone yet.

My thing is how does a head coach "fix" a QB? Who he brings in as his support staff, namely the OC and QB coach are going to be the ones to fix him. Part of the breakdown with Pederson was the fact that he didn't have Reich around anymore.

Yes, I'd roll the dice with Bieniemy.

McCarthy sold himself as a changed man but all we've seen so far is him trying to reassemble his old band. I'm not seeing enough signs of forward-thinking on his part.

It's also why I think he could be solid as a head coach but awful as a coordinator.
