So is there a reason the Olineman wouldn't be Collins? Or is his foot still not right.
I have to believe it won't be Collins or they wouldn't be mysterious about it. Probably one of the schlubs on the practice squad.

Yeah and if that's the case I can't possibly imagine Collins is healthy. Of course the way we are holding out players against the Eagles it wouldn't surprise me if the coaches don't want to "risk" Collins against the Eagles.

I guess it's at least a good sign that the guys we have cut recently have been claimed.
Just lazy front offices. Oh, they are 13-2, this guy has got to be good. Mayle was on our practice squad for the taking half the season.

Apparently, the Ravens didn't have a holding specialist and them watching him play for the Cowboys convinced them he was their guy.

Called up OG Ryan Seymour.
The Cowboys haven’t announced who they’re going to activate from the practice squad for this game. A guy that makes sense is offensive linemen Ryan Seymour, and the reason I say this is due to his versatility. Seymour is a natural guard, but he can also play center and some tackle in a pinch. If Ronald Leary can’t go this week, then Joe Looney will start at left guard -- but the problem with that is Looney is also your extra blocker on heavy packages. The staff could decide to not run any of those heavy packages or they could bring Seymour in to take Looney’s place at guard. For a guy that will likely only be active one game – Ryan Seymour might be the most valuable linemen they have dressed for the game.

Surprised we don't want an OT incase someone gets hurt there. Literally no backup.

Seahawks add offensive lineman Ryan Seymour in seventh round of NFL Draft

Ryan Seymour has played it all: right guard, left guard, right tackle, left tackle, center. He even was a defensive lineman in high school before switching to offense when he arrived at Vanderbilt.

Now he’ll be doing what he can for the Seahawks, who drafted him 220th overall with the 14th pick in the seventh round of the NFL Draft on Saturday.

“I pretty much played it all,” Seymour told Seattle media Saturday after his selection. “I’m just coming in as a versatile athlete. They can play me wherever they want. I can play anywhere from left tackle all the way over to the right side.”

Listed at 6-foot-4 and 301 pounds, he’d been a starter for most of his four years at Vanderbilt. He got the starting job his freshman year due to injuries up the depth chart, and was named to the All-SEC Freshman Team that year by league coaches.

Seymour kept his starting spot his sophomore year, and in his junior year missed just two games when he went down with an injury. Last season, as a senior, he had nine starts at left guard until other players’ injuries sparked a move to both tackle positions.

“I would say that Seattle was one of the main teams that showed the most interest,” Seymour said. “It’s such a great day. I’m so blessed to have the opportunity to come up and play for Seattle.”
