I feel sorry for the Jags. They have zero luck.

I'd say there was plenty of contact on that drill. Sucks for the Jags because they apparently weren't supposed to be running 11-on-11 contact drills with unsigned players.

I always thought the guy was going to be a bust but damn that's a tough way to go. I mean the dude didn't even make it to training camp. I just feel bad for the Jags.

I'm pretty sure they all have that same injury clause signed.

I wouldn't practice without a signed contract.
Rookie contracts are all slotted. If the team signed a waiver there probably isn't much room for negotiation

Who knows. But fowler just lost a lot of negotiating power. It's not a situation I'd voluntarily place myself in - The player runs all the risk.

Lower end of the range versus upper end and what's the rush for the Jaguars to sign him now? Wanna go arbitration? Cool.

What does 'good faith' mean?

The Broncos lost their third round pick, TE Jeff Heuerman to an ACL yesterday too.

They have to negotiate like he wasn't injured

Yeah, they do. And they don't want to be assholes even if they could.

It wasn't as if Fowler was doing anything he shouldn't have. It was terrible luck for him.
