If it was some kind of beatdown where he kept hitting her I'd agree. What I see in the video is a drunk guy throwing one punch in a situation where they were both being aggressive.

He needs to stay off the booze and go to counseling and prove that he's done acting like a violent drunk, but do I think he's the kind of guy who still goes home and beats up his wife? No, I don't really think so.
Yeah thats how I see it as well.

It seems like the Eagles are sign and cut bunches of free agents every season.

Jason Peters was their best signing, and unfortunately for them he got hurt.

Mathews was a great signing, but they seriously overpaid for Murray.
How great is it when you consider that their signings are sharing one good ACL?

I was hoping they would sign Knighton. He seems to have the "get up field" ability that Marinelli likes.

I really don't understand the deal he signed with Washington.

Why a prove-it deal, when he's clearly worth something long term?

Starting 0-2 will do that, Ed. Nor did we have the same cap restraints in '93.

There's also no comparing Smith to Murray. Not even close.

Why would he sign a Melton contract?

He is a little more proven.
I'd agree, except he was already on a "prove-it" contract with Green Bay before he got hurt and missed the entire 2014 season.

That he hasn't signed a deal with anyone yet is telling of a lot of front office caution.

Not really. He was terrible in 2013, signed a 1 year contract for 2014, then missed the whole year due to injury. He's not going to get anything more than the deal that Knighton got.

Did you mean 2014 season?
