Luck was a Harbaugh recruit and is the only 5-star recruit Stanford has had in 8 years.

Hogan was a 3-star recruit and over the last 3 years 3-star recruits have outnumbered 4-star recruits every year.

Stanford has had 1 top 10 recruiting class in 5 years.

Yeah the talent is great at Stanford.
Stanford was 20th in terms of current players in the NFL. They don't lack talent and haven't for long time.

Did you miss the part about getting the most out of their talent?

Yes they coach them up, but they don't get the type of talent other top 10 schools get consistently.

And really is 20th that great a number anyway?

Ken seems like a figurehead that couldn't replicate his success without the offensive mind that drove that run. I'd rather have the guy who has been able to be part of a quality offense in 3 different stops.
Yeah maybe, I was just thinking of someone better than Garrett!

Josh McDaniels, Sean McDermott, or Hue Jackson.

Anyone but Kevin Sumlin because Manziel would clearly be his boy.

I would hire the trained monkey. He could do a better job.

No to McDaniels. That guy was a clown show in Denver. He may know Xs and Os, but he doesn't have the personality to be a head coach.
