You don't see elite physical talents (collegiately speaking) like Deng, Boozer, Maggette, Jay Williams, etc. that they had back in the 90's/very early 00's. Parker is on that level but the vast majority of these guys are basically just 3 point specialists.

He's changed his recruiting the past few seasons but they've had hardly any inside toughness over the last 5-10 years outside of a bunch of Plumlee goofs.

That's also a product of Duke getting who they wanted, when they wanted back then. Now kids don't flock in droves to them. He still gets one or two of the premeire talent but you can't collect them and create a great team anymore.

I heard the NBA wants to add another year onto the age limit. Will be interesting to see college basketball get back to it's former greatness without the one and done's. Will probably kill the small schools though.
