I hope we'd trade down rather than reach for a DE, but no doubt Jerry will be in his panic-desperation-mode.

I'm not as high on Jeffcoat as some of the others on here. And I am a Longhorn fan. His ankle sprain in 2010 plagued him all year. And the torn pect in 2012 ended his season.

Now maybe as a situational pass rusher, but against the run, teams regularly ran right at Jackson with success. Maybe that was a technique issue that could be corrected. He was always fairly upright in his positioning with little bend.
