Yeah there is no point in sliding at the line of scrimmage, it was dumb on Romo's part.
He slid because of the guy in front of him. I'm confused by this line of posts.

Also I think Romo is just so not used to taking a hit because it has been so long.

I'm not going to argue it, but he couldn't see the guy behind him, which was my point to begin with.
Well of course he couldn't see the guy behind him, he doesn't have eyes in the back of his head...He still should of thrown it away instead of trying to scramble
