I don't really care about the pandering. To me actions speak louder then words and the actions of what he has done in the Senate is what is most important. I have a pretty good idea of what principals are actually important to him. One of my favorite parts is his desire to actually streamline our tax system and make it efficient. What bothers me about the other candidates is that their tax plans seem to only make the system more complicated and inefficient.I still have issues with Paul, mainly that his ideology sometimes takes a backseat when he needs to pander.but I respect a lot of his work in the senate.
But a guy like Ron or Rand Paul isn't ever going to make it in the Republican Party. They've made that abundantly clear.
Honestly, who thought that Donald Trump would ever be a legit candidate? I've stopped worrying about polls at this point. I just know who should be nominated. But instead everyone will worry about a candidates opinion on abortion or gay marriage, two things that we know won't change. Gay marriage is here to stay just like abortion.
