Nothing like watching your ace have to battle and grind just to get through 6 and keep his team in it only to have the hitters come through against the opposing pen.

Yep, both guys appear to be on their game. This could be fun and frustrating to watch.
Yeah, I would say it's going to be both. At least you guys have gotten some solid contact. We can't seem to even get that.

Josh Hamilton is hurt again. Out 6-8 weeks with a thumb injury.

Water is wet. Grass is green

He was actually off to a good start too.

Darvish is the fastest to 500 K's in MLB history.

Kinda neat.

Ol Suck Ass gets the start Saturday.

I'm not too optimistic for a Darvish like start because I don't think Colby will pitch that bad.

I was impressed with Ervin Santana yesterday. For a guy who got signed in spring training and got pelted in his minor league debut, I did not expect him to go 8 scoreless innings

Should be a pretty great pickup on the free agent wire/late rounds in fantasy baseball

I'm a Beane fan but letting Balfour walk for peanuts and signing Johnson to that amount of cash was just crazy.

How much did Balfour sign in Tampa and was that a discount due to team and/or health concern? Just asking .

He's making $6M a year. He claims he had more offered elsewhere but it was never reported how much. I seriously doubt it was close to the $10M the A's gave Jim Johnson.

I watched Johnson for two years up close and I would have given him away for a reacharound from the Oriole bird.

The most misleading 50 saves you'll ever see.

I hate that douchnozzle Balfour but thought he was good for Oakland. Hard to imagine that they didn't offer that to him and Balfour thought he could get more.
