You just missed the entire point of my post. The executive officer needs to know how to find the people of all these expertise. There are thousands of qualified people to fill the roles of all the areas you mentioned. While it may be helpful it isn't critical because that's the point of having advisers and a cabinet. You are trying to sell a person who may have had some exposure to these areas but the office is a constant evolution of people coming and going so static experience is not critical.
Even still, there is something to be said of Hillary's experience. Even if it's not the end all and be all of hiring a strong cabinet, having a long list of connections is definitely a positive. One that I don't think Trump has anything to match. He's never assembled an administration so there's no reason to believe he'd be good at it.

I just have no confidence in her ability to be a strong executive. She is way down on my list in that regard. She has had little executive experience but a lot of bureaucratic philosophical ideologies of social and economic policies that are 180 degrees from me. I can't get sold on her under any circumstance and that is about all I can say about it.

Worst. Field. For. The. POTUS. EVER.
When you have people justifying why they'll vote for someone that they acknowledge is completely full of shit because they are better than "the other guy," that's pretty bad.

I mostly agree with you. She's a weak candidate. Over the last 20 years I have spent more hours railing against the idea of Hillary as a president than any other person.

That's how batshit this election has been, that I'm very likely to vote for the one person I've not wanted to be president since I was a child.

Jeb floated the idea, and I'm not sure it's so crazy, that Hillary and Trump are in cahoots, and he's intentionally sabotaging the party to shoe her into office.

Asking me whether I'd rather vote for Hillary or Trump is like asking if I'd rather drink horse piss or bleach.

She got all those positions based on her name and did nothing except try to build a resume, which is entirely empty.
And she fucked up majorly while in those positions.

Just get Marco Rubio nominated and I vote for him. I would also even vote for ~shudder~ Ted Cruz over her.

That may well be the field so get ready to do the same or pass on your right to vote.

If I'm being totally honest I don't like Rubio. I'd vote for him over a worse option like Hilary but Rubio's tax policies and economic policies leave way too much to be desired. I've never had a great feeling about Cruz but I don't know much about him. It looks like I may actually need to start paying attention to him.

And let's not get started on that socialist nutjob Bernie Sanders.

Or vote third party. It may be a wasted vote but I could argue all the options are wasted votes.
I don't get that line of reasoning. "Why would I vote for a 3rd party? That is just a waste of my vote." Your vote counts the same either way stupid. The only way that has any validity is if you are into the political teams nonsense that is ruining this country. If you actually care about your vote then use it for the person you think will do the best job. That's the only way it counts.

At this point I am inclined toward John Kasich but it's not likely he will even sniff the nomination.

I like Kasich too. Seems like the more reasonable a candidate is the less likely they are to get talked about

:lol Of course. Rubio is perfectly fine as a first term Senator with little experience. Guess it is the (R).

Rubio is also the former speaker of the Florida House of Representatives. If being a former governor qualifies you for the presidency, being speaker of a state house should be a bullet point on a resume to add to being a Senator. Sure as hell beats "community organizer".
