I guess this was a barb at my post which was made to prove a point.

Bernie is no less of a kook than Ron Paul, yet he gets a lot more respect as more "mainstream" which just amazes me.
If Ron Paul was going to get respect it should have started at Fox News. But they can't tolerate the fact that he is anti war.

Not really but you did provide a pejorative that I felt helped make my point. I get what you were saying though. :buddy

With media being controlled by large corporations and controlling the message for the country, I think social media is what this country needs. :buddy

Social media gives everyone the same platform. While freedom of speech is essential I believe it has hurt us in this instance. Of course I'm advocating lessening freedom of speech by any stretch.

Any idiot can become an expert now. Many of them don't have any credentials or oversight. Yet, they can gain a following and have an impact on opinion. Your my people are dumber than ever and don't even remember a time when journalism was a something completely different tha it was not long ago.

I mean, the leading republican candidate is a cartoon character. Yeeehaww!!!

It's a dang disaster. If someone legit comes along they get crushed by their own party.

Social media has less to do with the downfall in political and social awareness of our country then our corporate media.

Trump is on all the dang time, not because he has good ideas on policy, but because he is good for ratings and the bottom line.

Yeah there are nutballs on social media, but you can pick the wack jobs out in my experience.

That's pretty much how all of these idiots have been elected in the last several elections. The difference is that you like your cartoon character.

When have I ever said anything positive about Bernie?

My favorite guy in all of this is Kasich if I had to choose.
So once Kasich is out of the race in the next month, if Bernie somehow won the nomination you wouldn't vote for him?

You haven't watched Hardball or Howard Dean then, or listened to any of their pundits outside of Chris Hayes, or Rachel Maddow.

He is barely covered on the channel. It's all Trump all the time, on every show just about.

He did have a nice piece on this week with Morning Joe, Joe and Mica were very complimentary. (I'll give you two more)

Quite honestly I am surprised you are cool with Kasich.
Kasich is the closest to a Democrat the R's have in the race.

Basically if Trump played football Jerry would want to sign him.

Ok I'll take this on as if I were strictly a Republican:

We don't hate Hillary, we hate her politics.
We don't hate Muslims, we hate Muslim extremist terrorists that want to kill us and those that support them.
We don't hate Blacks, we want the same thing for them as we do for our own families.
We don't hate Blacks voting, only stupid black votes such as "I voted for Obama because he was black!"
Same applies to Hispanics as blacks.
We don't hate LGBT, We just don't agree with them. There is no such thing as marriage equality.
We Don't hate Government, We hate big, overbearing government that wants to involve itself in every aspect of life. Yeah, that includes marriage.
The rich would love to pay their fair share of taxes. Wouldn't we all!
We are the ones that actually do care about vets, show them respect and don't treat them like criminals in their own country. That applies to active duty as well.
We love healthcare, just not the destruction that Obamacare is and will continue to bring to it.
We are the ones that believe in actual science, not the twisted religion of a science the Democrats change every 5 year to accommodate their latest cause.
For education, see what I wrote about government.
We don't hate clean air, we hate destroying industries and killing jobs to carry out an agenda that could be accomplished by other means.
We don't hate the poor, we want to actually help build them up rather than keep them poor and on the teat of big government.
We may actually kind of hate social security, but since it's there we just want it to actually be sound.
We don't hate Medicare, we just hate what it's being turned into. Obama hates it more since he stole from it.
We kinda do dislike unions too.
You posted this crap so who really hates the facts?
Yes, most of us do hate the right to choose. Your ilk boggle me because you don't believe in capital punishment for someone that did something heinous, but killing an innocent unborn is A OK in your twisted brain.
We don't hate equal pay and do your research because overall most women get it. A officer in my department gets the same pay regardless of sex.
Women are glorious gifts from God that most of us marry and put up on pedestals. Not so much with your candidate and her family huh?

The idiocy of someone who wrote this and posted it because they believe it. Geez

I see what you did there!

I've always said I'm more for the de-unionized cops in Texas than northern, corrupt, protected cops in Yankeeland. We don't get the riots because Texas agencies don't protect the bad ones as much as Union departments do. The only bad cops I ever met in Texas were Highway Patrol. I still hate them as a matter of principle. They get paid 4 times what I do to write tickets when I tell convicted murderers to go to bed and how they are allowed to walk to get their meals.

The people in our industry I feel for is county sheriff's deputees they have a new angry drunk to fight every day. I never have to fight. I've been 5 years in the prison system without a single use of force. Maybe that leads to a certain arrogance on my part because inmates do what I say out of respect for the fact that I don't target people or single them out. I never wanted to be a cop because you don't get that. When my great Grandfather was SAPD he had a hairy job, but your local neighborhood knew the beat cop responsible for it. Nowadays, if you're a cop, your job follows you home. It infiltrates your life. I wouldn't want that, I've been recognized out in the free world by inmates before, four times, but it was never an aggressive thing. They just said "Look out, boss!" and moved on.

Dean is Hillary schill and he is just a rotating talking head, I don't know why he would carry so much weight.

Chris Mathews talks about Bernie all the time all of their prime time shows talk about Bernie and have given him airtime.

Morning Joe loves Bernie and that's the highest-rated program on the network.

I am a centrist I believe both sides have their strengths and weaknesses, I am tired of gov gridlock so I think Kasich could get things done while not swinging wildly to the right.

I don't think Hillary would be a terrible president but I could see massive gridlock again if she went into office.

I don't know about kook but Ron Paul had some pretty drastic policy positions, like going back to the gold standard and becoming completely isolationist.

Bernie wants to to radical things but I don't think they are on those levels.
